First Day at Twist & Shout

I've been twisting balloons for 2 years now and feeling pretty good about my skills- until today when I arrived at my first ever balloon conference, Twist & Shout in Orlando Florida! The amazing skill of the instructors, competitors, and the dress makers has sparked a whole new passion for me.

I wanted to learn some new techniques and designs, and I learned way more than I had bargained for! By the end of day 1 I had purchased 28 bags of balloons I never previously used, a dress form, and $112 worth of DVD's, cutters, and gear... somebody has a problem....

The Park Inn Hotel was over run with these amazing designs. Here's some shots from the inside....

  After class, all the twisters passed balloons out to guests at the hotel- it was pretty cool seeing everyone with the backpacks!
